Mohamed Jaffer Laving is a seasoned banker with over 28 years’ experience in the banking industry; 15 of those in Branch Operations, 8 years in Head Office as Senior Manager Operations and 5 years as the Head of Operations. His experience spans across Organizational Change, Program and Project Management, Sales, Technology, Banking Operations, Trade Finance and Finance.
Laving has attended several courses and trainings in Banking Operations, Branch Leadership, Corporate Governance, Performance Management and Banking Fraud amongst others.
Laving has also completed executive and leadership programmes from The Strathmore Business School. He is a member of the Kenya Institute of Bankers (KIB) and holds a Fellowship Certificate (FKIB) and is also a Certified Islamic Finance Executive (CIFE).
Before joining Premier Bank, Laving worked with Habib Bank Ltd for 14 years. Laving is passionate about service delivery and seamless operations at the Bank.
