Thureya has an in-depth understanding of the banking and financial services sector spanning no less than 16 years, having been among the pioneer staff at the inception of providing Islamic financial and banking services in 2007.

At the onset, her role as the Executive Assistant in the CEO’s office placed her at the epicenter of the organization. In this role, Thureya served in key cross functional administrative roles touching on every facet of banking operations and departments.
Additionally, she has closely and continuously worked with members at the c-suit level, including the board of directors. In these interactions, she has learnt and gained invaluable experience.

Her role has dictated a high level of integrity, due diligence, confidentiality and competence.

As Premier Bank’s Head of Administration, she brings a wealth of on the job expertise in the coordination, facilitation and execution of the backend services that allows for an effective and efficient running of the institution.

Thureya has completed an Executive and Leadership program from The Strathmore business school.
