Non-Executive Director, Mr. Ahmed is a businessman in Somalia who has vast experience in the financial industry having pioneered in the set-up of several institutions. Mr. Ahmed holds Master’s Degree in Statistics from Gezira University in Sudan, Master’s Degree of Applied Economics in Econometrics from the Sudan University of Science and Technology in Sudan, Khartoum, a Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics from Al Neelain University and Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Economics from the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Science in Khartoum. Mr. Ahmed is an accomplished Economist with several years of experience. He is the Chairman and a Shareholder of Atlas Financial Services Ltd and has been in the financial services business for the last 14 years. He was the Head of Research at Dahabshil Exchange and Money Transfer’s Research and Development department from 2001 to 2003 in Hargeisa, Somalia. Since 2014 to present, he has been serving as Director at Premier Bank Somalia Ltd.
