Winnie Mutunge

Ms. Winnie is a seasoned insurance professional with a wealth of experience in the industry having worked for many years in management position. With a strong educational background and a dedication to continuous learning, she has established herself as a distinguished figure in the field.

Winnie joined the banking sector in 2012 where she focused on insurance operations. Through her dedication and competence, she quickly progressed through the ranks, attaining the position of Principal Officer and Head of Bancassurance. Her multifaceted role requires her to oversee various aspects of insurance operations, ensuring the smooth functioning and profitability of the department.

Winnie holds an MBA from Daystar University with double majors in Strategic Management and Marketing. She also obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Risk and Insurance Management, from Moi University. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her Associate status in the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), which she achieved through examination. She has also undergone extensive senior management training at Strathmore University and acquired certifications. She has also been trained on Leadership and corporate Governance skills.
