Non-Executive Director, Mr. Hussein Ali Salad is Businessman and holds Masters of Science degree in Governance and Development Management from the University of Birmingham in England and an ‘MBA’ Masters in Business Administration from the United States International University for Africa, Nairobi. As a Senior Program and Policy Advisor, Mr. Salad worked in the field of humanitarian assistance and development for over twenty years. During his tenure, Mr. Salad liaised with regional, National and international authorities and partners in the planning and implementation of humanitarian Assistance programmes of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United States Agency for International Development in Somalia and larger Eastern African region.
In the private business sector, as a senior manager, Mr. Salad served as a Director and Chaired several Boards including Kenya Forex Bureau and Remittance Association (KFRA), Opportunity Bank PLC of South Sudan, Galaxy International Bank Somalia, the East African Gas Oil Ltd and Takaful Insurance of Africa both in the East African region. Mr. Salad’s main areas of interest and expertise are in Governance, Development Management and strategic management.
